Personal Experience

Since childhood, Md. Shamsul Alam had a great interest in creative works like writing, acting, fine arts, painting, etc. Along with his studies, he used to be busy with these aesthetic creative works. After completing a Diploma in Computer Science and Hardware Management from Computer Technology Training Institute under Ministry of Education in 1995 Shamsul Alam started his career in the arena of IT sector. In 1998 he has completed his graduation and then assigned his career as a Video Editor in Television Media. In his long career, he has worked with many famous Actors, TVC makers, Drama and Film Makers, Directors and Producers, such as Afzal Hossain, Mr. Riaz Uddin Badsha, Mr. Subhash Dutt, Mr. Kazi Hayat and many others, sometimes as a
video editor and sometimes as an assistant director. Along with his work, he also continued his studies. He obtained a master's degree from the National University in 2001.

As a Senior Video Editor, he has already draw very colourful figures in private Television like Channel-I, Diganta TV and recently in RTV. He has achieved praise and admiration from different intellectuals for his more than 1500 dramas, telefilms, Documentary, crime shows, reality shows, musical shows
and so on.

As a Director, Script writer and Video Editor, he makes many Corporat AV, NGO/INGO Documentary, Short Films, Educational Content etc. for Ministry of Education, Ministry of Women and Children Affairs, Bangladesh Bank, SME Foundation, A2i, JIKA, Save the Children, Bangladesh Police Force, RAB, Fire
Service and many more.

Recently he worked as a Chief Video Editor, Graphics Designer, Assistant Director, and Sound Director on a Biographical Documentary Film on Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman named “Political Life of Bangabandhu and
Emergence of Bangladesh” produced by Bengal Multimedia (RTV) which is awarded as Best Documentary Film 2020.

As a writer he writes drama scripts and novels like Ridoy Kuthire, Nishideep, Otopor Grafter, Bristy O Valobashar Golpo, Joyita Tomer Jonno, etc.

With a vast experience of almost 23 years, he founded Trimatri Media Agency on January 1, 2025. Now, he is giving his full attention and sincere devotion to
Trimatri as a creative director and scriptwriter.
